Belated Record Store Day Recap
by jon in Editorials, In & Around Our Store, Musician Reviews, bands to watch

We’ve been very busy with back-to-back weekend events, so this is a little belated, but we wanted to give a big thanks to all the folks who came out and supported us on Record Store Day!
It seemed like eveyone had a very good time. The store was packed, we had tons of stuff to give away and the limited edition titles really flew out fast. Thank you all for your patience with the opening crowds and for not being too frustrated when we were sold out of some items.
A lot of you folks made a big effort to get here; I talked to many who came from hours away. It was really gratifying to hear that we have made such a strong impact in so many peoples’ lives. It’s customers like you who keep us going strong!
A very special thank you goes out to Richard Barone (formerly of the Bongos) and Nick Celeste who perfomed an impromptu acoustic guerrilla mini-concert in front of the store. We normally don’t do in-store performances due to lack of space, but these kind folks risked Princeton police to play for us, and it really sounded great!
You can watch two of the performances on YouTube.
