Born in Palo Alto, California the day Ernie K. Doe’s “Mother In Law” sat at number one on the charts, Beverly Paterson  started listening to music on a serious basis as a youngster growing up in New Mexico.

But it wasn’t until the latter half of the eighties that she began participating in the scene, which was when she embarked on a self-publishing route. “Voices Green and Purple,” “Inside Out,” “Pop Sunday” and “Twist and Shake” are among some of the fanzines she has produced.

Aside from Princeton Record Exchange, Beverly regularly contributes interviews and reviews  to The Lance Monthly, Music Dish and Rock Beat International. Although she has a deep appreciation for all styles of music, her favorites are garage rock, psychedelia, surf rock, power pop, bubblegum music and classic rock.

Beverly currently resides in San Mateo, California, a city where legendary acts such as The Beau Brummels, Syndicate of Sound and The Grass Roots once  roamed the premises.
