Oh, Those Doctor’s Office Tunes!
It’s dark, rainy and windy outside. I’ve come back from my chiropractor where my right shoulder has been through the usual therapy for a pinched nerve.
Warm, moist hot wraps, followed by an instrument which deeply massages your muscles that I like to call a “belt sander”, lots of hand massage, neck stretching, shoulder twisting, neck stretching and otherworldly cracking from most of my upper body really do help me.
If Dr. Cartegna didn’t do his magic on my shoulder this morning, I’d be blogging with one hand this evening, and that would be bloody difficult, wouldn’t it?
But, oh, that “doctor’s office” music! If it’s just him in the office, it’s “classic rock” and, if his assistant is there, it’s that “adult soft rock”.
Forget this! I want to be massaged and have my shoulder sanded while listening to Wilco, Tony Bennett or Hem.
So, I’m going to put together a couple of CD’s for my chiropractor’s office to replace the corporate radio dreck he’s playing.
I’m looking for your suggestions for nice, mellow, offbeat sort of musical things.
Let the conversation begin!

Oh, I think “Rubber Soul” would just do it for me!
