Records! Records! Records!

We are pleased to announce the purchase of a huge collection of around 5,000 titles (yes, five thousand!).

We are very busy pricing them, checking the conditions, and getting them out in stock (around three thousand out so far, the rest to follow shortly), and we thought you record fans would want a heads up.

This is a very interesting collection from an eclectic collector. There are a large percentage of 60’s and 70’s classic rock and psyche titles, hundreds of reggae records, lots of early pressings of strong catalog titles, and around two hundred higher-priced rarities. It also contains many desirable records of soul, folk, country, blues, and other genres. Almost all are in excellent condition, and most are priced in the $2 to $10 range.

This is one of the nicest collections we have seen in some time. We hope you get a chance to check it out soon.

We have also just out an unusual collection of about 200 alternative rock/punk records.
Lots of scarce titles by artist like Black Flag, The Deviants, Angry Samoans, Minutemen, The Residents, T.S.O.L., are now in stock.

Lastly, another nice collection of over 5,000 classical and opera CDs has just been put out.

It consists of primarily basic repertoire, modern recordings (not a lot of “historical” pieces). It also features at least 500 renaissance and baroque titles.

Around half are in our cheap/budget bins priced from $1.99 to $4.99 per disc, including over 1,500 at $1.99, and 200 or so 20th Century CRI titles (not in their original cases) at $2.99 a piece. The rest of the titles are mostly in the $6.99-$7.99 range, and are either in the new arrival bins or have been filed in the main sections.
