We recently returned from our tour of Japan with Hit the Lights, Every Avenue, There for Tomorrow, and The Real You. I think we can all say without conviction that this was one of the best, most fun tours we ever did. We are so lucky to have the chance to tour with our friends and see the world, because it gives us a chance to see and experience things we would never have the chance to otherwise, and the chance to play our music in places we only had dreamed of before. ANYWAYS, enough with the reminiscing. For everyone all around the world that wishes they could have seen the tour we were a part of in Japan, we’ve put together a video documenting the experiences while we were there. In other news, we have great news for everyone in America that was bummed out that they were missing us play with Every Avenue, because this Thursday we start our tour with them. Cash Cash, Sparks the Rescue, and Phone Calls From Home will also be playing. This tour hits half of the country, and tickets are on sale. Check out the links below to see where we’ll be hitting on the tour with Every Avenue, and pick up your tickets now before they’re gone! After that, we will be heading out to Las Vegas to do the first date of Blink 182’s reunion tour. Motion City Soundtrack will be on that as well. We head back to the east coast the next day, July 24th, to meet up with the Warped Tour and will be on there until the end of the tour. We will be hitting basically every city in America, so now’s your chance to come hang out with us. It’s going to be a great summer, can’t wait to see you guys there!

I saw Valencia perform at Bamboozle 2008 and at Ramapo College (Mahwah, NJ) on April 17, 2009 and tried to get an interview with the band; but they said no, that I’d have to set it up in advance. Guess which guitarist made the sign of the cross on himself before the set.

I’ve seen Valencia more than 100 times (in DE, NJ, NY, MD, and PA). They are an amazing band. Seriously 5 of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. It’s just common courtesy to request an interview in advance. They don’t have time to do 37 interviews at every show they go to.
