Train Schedules to Princeton Record Exchange, Princeton, NJ from New York City & Philadelphia
In
an effort to help the hundreds of music and movie lovers that
visit Princeton Record Exchange from out of state we've composed
this page of train service information. Here you can find
contact information for train services as well as tips
on traveling to and from Manhattan, New York
City and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Train Service Websites and Phone Numbers:
If traveling by Train to/from Manhattan, New York City:
The total trip to Princeton Record Exchange,
including transfer, takes 90 minutes or less from Penn Station, Manhattan.
Both NJ Transit and Amtrak trains leave from Penn Station
(34th St. and 8th Ave) and arrive at Princeton Junction which
is within a few miles of Princeton Record Exchange.
From Princeton
Junction you have a few options to get to our store.
- You may take a smaller shuttle train (called "the
dinky") to Princeton's local train station. This shuttle
train meets the incoming trains from NYC and takes about 5
minutes.
- From the local Princeton station, take a 8
minute walk (see map below), or a short taxi ride (for around
$8) to our store.
- Alternatively,
you may take a taxi directly from Princeton Junction (for
around $15).
Amtrak
provides the fastest service to Princeton Junction, but because
their trains are infrequent and significantly more expensive,
we recommend using NJ Transit, Northeast Corridor Line.

If traveling by Train to/from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:
Most
of our customers from Philadelphia take a SEPTA train to Trenton, transfer to a NJ Transit train to Princeton
Junction (one town over from us), and then use the shuttle
train into Princeton. The total trip, including transfers,
takes about 90 minutes (see
map).
There
are a few Amtrak trains that will take you directly to Princeton
Junction, but most will only take you as close as Trenton
and they are all much more expensive. The SEPTA trains that
go to Trenton are slower, but they are much cheaper and run
much more frequently. From the Trenton Station, transfer to
a NJ Transit train on the Northeast Corridor Line towards
New York, and get off at Princeton Junction.
Alternatively,
you make take a taxi from Trenton to Princeton Record Exchange
for about $50.
From Princeton
