Founded in 1980, Princeton Record Exchange is an independent record and CD store in historic downtown Princeton, New Jersey, about one hour from New York City and Philadelphia. We are larger than any NJ Record Store or independent New York CD store.

Our store stocks hundreds of titles not found in other New Jersey Record Stores. We have over 50,000 New & Used Rock CDs and LPs in stock. Our New Jersey Record store is a complete Rock CD Store and Rock Record Store. We buy thousands of new titles in many music genres every week, including many Rock CD and Rock Record titles--our stock changes daily.

We buy private collections, estate collections, reviewer/radio station surplus, and entire inventories of retail stores —no new or used music or DVD collection is too large.

Our rock CD store includes over 5,000 CDs priced from $1.99 to $4.99 each. Our store's selection includes Cheap CDs, mostly in excellent condition and by well-known musicians from genres including Rock, Jazz, Classical, Rock CDs, etc. Our Rock selection in both our Rock CD Store and Rock Record Store, is by far our largest selection of any low priced music genre.

Rock Record Sale under $2:

Much of our Rock Record Store Selection is priced under $2 due to overstock, titles that have been recently reduced in price, obscure titles or because they are 12" singles. Our Rock Record selection under $2 is composed of thousands of Rock Record titles priced at either $1 or $1.99.

Rock Record Store 12" Singles:

We stock thousands of 12" singles in our rock record store. More than 50% of our Rock Record Store 12" singles collection are priced at $1 per disc. We also stock hundreds of 45s, which are located below our budget CDs section, in our Rock Record Store.
