Sell Your Record Collection: We Buy These Artists on CD, LP Vinyl Album Collection
Founded in 1980, Princeton Record Exchange is an independent record and CD store in historic downtown Princeton, New Jersey, about one hour from New York City and Philadelphia. Our CD and record collection consists of over 120,000 titles in many music genres and our stock changes daily. Our selection includes over 50,000 rock records and CDs.
We are always interested in increasing our in-store CD and record collection. We buy thousands of new titles in many music
genres every week, including many Rock CD and Rock Record
titles as well as jazz, soul, blues, hip-hop and much more.
We buy private collections, estate collections, reviewer/radio station surplus, and entire inventories of retail stores —no new or used music or DVD collection is too large.

Sell Us Your Records for $1 or More Each: Multi-Genre Buying List
Below our YouTube video is a multi-genre list of artists and labels on LP we can pay at least $1 for. There are many other artists, too numerous to list, that we can pay $1 and up for. We can pay much more for certain hard to find items. Most other artists will be worth 25 cents or less based on supply and demand. On CD, there are many more artists worth at least $1 to us, as well as many major-label classical and opera recordings and others. Also, many more CDs are worth 10 cents to 25 cents to us. Many CDs are of no interest to us. We look forward to hearing from you.

CD and Record Collection Buying Guide: We Pay at Least $1 Per Title for Most Artists & Labels Listed Below (Revised 6-27-11)
PLEASE CHECK CONDITIONS AS BEST AS
POSSIBLE AS CHECKING / CLEANING IS TIME CONSUMING FOR US AND A FACTOR IN PRICES WE CAN PAY:
AVOID most of these artists on Budget Labels (like
Pickwick & Camden). Most budget labels as well as many artists that we do not buy are listed on our Avoid List, PREX.com/no.
In many cases prices are very
conservative and many be substantially higher.
Scratches, scuffs, mold, and other
damage will substantially reduce the value.
