We buy Beatles Albums and sell Beatles Albums and much
more. We have been buying and selling new and used CDs &
records since 1980. Founded in 1980, Princeton Record
Exchange is a 4,300 square foot independent record store
with over 160,000 titles located in historic, downtown Princeton, New Jersey, about one hour from New York City and Philadelphia, easily accessible by car, train and bus.
Please note that while we do buy and sell used CDs and Records of the Beatles, they are only a small percentage of our business. Our selection includes tens of thousands of other artist's titles and thousands of DVDs for sale at our New Jersey store. artists. These prices are subject to change.
This is a general buying guide and does not address certain
promotional items and many other rarities. Please call or
e-mail for further information.
Conditions: Please note that the prices below are for vinyl,
discs, liner notes and covers in excellent to near-mint
condition only (free of scratches and scuffs). Titles in
lesser condition will be worth substantially less to us.
Beatles Albums: Sell
Your Beatles CDs & Beatles Vinyl
Beatles CDs: We pay $4 each for most used Beatles CDs,
$5 & up for most factory sealed / new Beatles CDs, more for multiple
CD sets.
We strongly recommend you call us at 609-924-3472
and ask to speak with one of our LP appraisers, to discuss
your Beatles collection due to the many variations of pressings.
Original Mono “Rainbow” Black Capitol labels:
We pay $5 to $12 each, except $30 for near-mint copies of
Sgt. Pepper & Magical Mystery Tour.
Original Stereo “Rainbow” Black Capitol labels:
We pay $4 to $5 each.
Most recent U.S. pressings (1989 - present) including Lime
Green, Apple, Orange, Purple, and reissue (after 1980) Black
Rainbow/Apple labels: We pay $2.50 to $3 each for most titles.
Most original 1960’s pressings on Vee Jay, MGM, Metro,
Atco, & Clarion labels: We pay $10 & up. (We pay
$2.50 to $3 for most reissues of these labels from 1970
to the present.)
Please note, we are not interested in buying the
record, "Introducing the Beatles."
Imports: Original near-mint 1960’s pressings: We pay
$12 to $30 & up for many titles and pressings if the
records and covers are in near-mint condition.
Imports (later pressings from 1968 to the present): We pay
$2 to $4 per disc for many of these titles.
Mobile Fidelity (MFSL): We pay $10 & up for most Beatles
on MFSL, $50 & up for complete UHQR Sgt. Pepper package,
and $250 for a complete 14 LP MFSL set with complete packaging,
including all inserts and GEO disc.
We pay $4 per disc for most Beatles CDs, more for MFSL label.
Again, we recommend you call us to discuss your Beatles
collection due to the many variations of pressings.
Bob Dylan Albums: Sell Your Bob
Dylan CDs & Vinyl
We pay $2 - $4 per disc for most Bob Dylan CDs, more for MFSL label. We also pay much more for Bob Dylan box sets.
Original U.S. mono Columbia pressings: We pay $4 &
up for most titles, and for many mono or stereo white label
“DJ” and promotional records, $25 & up for
6 Eye Label “Bob Dylan.”
Stereo pressings: We pay $1 to $2 per disc for most 1960’s
pressings (except $25 & up for "6 Eye" Label
version of “Bob Dylan”) Please note: “Freewheelin’:”
We must examine and listen to authenticate originals; the
vast majority are not first pressings.
Led Zeppelin Albums: Sell Your
Led Zeppelin CDs & Vinyl
We pay $3 - $4 per disc for most Led Zeppelin CDs, more for MFSL label. We also pay much more for Led Zeppelin box sets.
Atlantic Pressings: We pay $1 - $2 for most domestic titles,
$10 for Purple and Red "Led Zeppelin I."
MFSL & Led Zeppelin IV (Purple Vinyl): We pay $10 &
up.
Japanese Import Pressings: We pay $5 - $8 each.
Import Pressings: We pay $3 - $5 each for many other import
pressings.
Classics Series (Audiophile Pressings): We pay $3 each.
Pink Floyd Albums: Sell Your Pink
Floyd CDs & Vinyl
We pay $3 - $4 per disc for most Pink Floyd CDs, more for MFSL label. We also pay much more for Pink Floyd box sets.
Tower Label: We pay $6 & up.
Japanese Import Pressings: We pay $4 & up each.
Import Pressings: We pay $3 & up for many other import
pressings.
Promo LPs & 12" EPs: We pay $3 - $5 & up for
many promo pressings.
Other Domestic Pink Floyd Pressings: We pay $1.50 - $2
for most titles.
Elvis Presley Albums: Sell Your Elvis
Presley CDs & Vinyl
We pay $1 - $2 per disc for most Elvis Presley CDs, more for MFSL label. We also pay much more for Elvis Presley box sets.
RCA LPM original (1958 - 1968 pressings) We pay $3 - $8
for most titles. Variations include "Long Play",
"Monaural" & "Mono" at the bottom
of the label, and usually a white dog at the top center
of the label.
RCA LSP original (1958 - 1968) Black label Stereo pressings.
We pay $2 - $5 for most titles. Variations include "Living
Stereo " & "Stereo" at the bottom of
the label, and usually a white dog at the top center of
the label.
Many original Presley LP’s came with bonus items
(generally photos). We pay an additional $3 to $5 more for
complete packages in near-mint condition.
NOTE: “Moody Blue:” We pay $10 & up for
U.S. Black vinyl RCA pressings. We do not buy Blue Vinyl
pressings because we get more than we can sell.
U.S. RCA Box Sets: We pay approximately $1 per disc.
Imports: We pay $0.50 to $3 per disc for many Elvis Presley
imports.
Mobile Fidelity (MFSL) Label: We pay $7.
We pay very little for most later pressings. If the dog
is in the upper right hand corner of the label, and does
not have the information listed above appearing at the bottom
of the label, it is most likely a later pressing.
We are not interested in buying budget label re-issues
such as RCA Camden, Pickwick, Audio Fidelity, Candlelight
(singles or box sets).
Rolling Stones Albums: Sell
Your Rolling Stones CDs & Vinyl
We pay $3 - $4 per disc for most Rolling Stones CDs, more for MFSL label. We also pay much more for Rolling Stones box sets.
Mono U.S. pressings with “FFRR” printed on
the top part of the label: We pay $15 & up. Other original
U.S. mono and import mono pressings: We pay $5 & up
for most titles.
Stereo pressings: London (U.S.) & Abkco (U.S.) —
We pay $1.50 to $2 each.
Imports: Decca and certain other import labels - We pay
$2 to $4 each for many imports.
“Their Satanic Majesties Request” 3-D Cover:
We pay $3 (Stereo) & $30 & up (Mono) for near-mint
cover & LP.

We pay $7 & up for Dylan, Stones, Presley, and Beatles
titles; most other titles are $2 to $20 each.

Stones, and Bob Dylan CD’s

inventory because our inventory changes greatly from day
