Founded in 1980, Princeton Record Exchange is a 4,300 square foot independent record and CD music store located in historic, downtown Princeton, New Jersey, about one hour from New York City and Philadelphia, easily accessible by car, train and bus.

With a selection of over 140,000 titles, we are one of the largest independent record and CD music stores on the East Coast.

When selling your Soul CDs and Records to us (and other music), we recommend you bring them into our New Jersey music store. If you cannot bring them yourself, you may send pre-approved titles via UPS or via Mail. We do not accept, nor will be held responsible for unauthorized merchandise.

Sell Soul CDs to Us:

We will pay from $1 to $4 for most strong selling full-length CDs in excellent condition. However, there are many titles that we may only offer 10 cents to 50 cents for; these titles may be less sought after, in less than excellent condition or that we get too many copies of.  There are some titles that we are not able to buy at all.Discs, cases, and liner notes must be in excellent condition. Your Soul CDs are of interest to us whether your collection is large and small. Also visit our gospel CD albums and our old music CDs, old dvds, and old records pages.

We pay $5 or more for certain titles in greater demand including CDs on the Mosaic and Mobile Fidelity labels and other rarities.

Sell Soul Records to Us:

We generally pay up to two dollars for strong-selling Soul Records, (And up to $100 or more for certain rarities, less for weaker titles and for titles of which we have a large quantity) in near-mint condition (Records and covers must be unscratched and unscuffed). Soul LPs from the 50s and 60s such as Acapella, DooWop, Motown, Stax, and Girl Groups are of special interest to us. We pay $1.00 to $2.00 for many vinyl records in these genres. Many sought-after artists and titles that were produced in the 50s and 60s get $2.00 to $5.00, and we will pay $10.00 to $100.00 or more for some rarities.
