Please Note: We would love to evaluate your collection, and will give you a free appraisal, but be aware that there are many titles that we cannot use due to lack of demand, overstock, or condition quality.

Selling CDs:
When Selling CDs to us, we typically pay from $1.00 to $4.00 for most full length CDs, based on popularity of artist, title and condition. There are thousands of CDs that we are happy to pay $3.00 to $4.00 for, but we may offer you less than $1.00 for some poor-sellers.
To sell CDs for top-dollar, they must be in excellent shape; no scratches on the discs, cracks in the cases, or rips in the liner notes.

Selling
DVDs
When Selling DVDs to us, we pay up to $4.00 per disc for most feature-length movies; higher prices for many TV on DVD Box Sets and more for some deluxe issues such as Criterion Collection editions. As with CDs, when selling DVDs, the discs, liner notes and cases must be in excellent condition to get full price.

Sell Record Collection
When you Sell Your Record Collection, we typically pay from 50 cents to $2.00 for strong-selling LPs. Please Note: while many LPs are of great interest to us, the vast majority of those in today's market have little to no monetary value. The fastest and easiest way of determining the general value of your collection is to call us.
We are always looking for sought-after titles, and there
are some rarities that fetch $10.00 to $100.00 or more. On the other
hand, there are some LPs that we can not use at all because they
are scratched, weak-sellers, or we have too many of them. LPs that
are scratched, scuffed, or moldy will get only a fraction of our
top prices. We base our offer on supply and demand, conditions of
vinyl and cover, as well as other market conditions.

While we buy many CD and DVD collections through the mail, most LP collections that we buy come from customers that live within 2-3 hours from Princeton, NJ. You are welcome to fill out our sell records questionnaire or call us to discuss your collection, but please be aware that most records do not have a high enough value to make shipping worth while. It is generally best to bring them to our Princeton, NJ store, but we do recommend that you speak with one of our appraisers first, or see LP genres of interest to us and LPs we have little interest in to make sure we don't waste your time.

Selling SACD (Super Audio CD), Selling DVD Audio (DVD-A) and more...
We are very interested in increasing our selection of emerging formats, such as SACD and DVD Audio with our customers interested in buying and selling SACD and selling DVD-A. When you are selling SACD (Super Audio CD) and DVD-A (DVD Audio), we pay up to $4 per disc. While very interested in new audio formats, Princeton Record Exchange is always also interested in you selling CDs and selling sacd (Super Audio CD) and selling DVD Audio to our store. Selling Video Games:
We are always looking to enhance our Collection of video
games. If you're interested in selling games online, please visit our selling

to $8.00 dollars per game for many Xbox, Playstation 2,
Gamecube and Gameboy games.
We are only interested
in games from current game systems.
Selling your Laser Disc collection
We pay 25 to 50 cents
for many Laser Discs. We are uncertain how long we will
continue to buy Laser Discs due to the expanding
market in selling DVDs and selling CDs. Because of their
relatively low value, we will only buy these at our store;
sorry, no mail collections.
