Shipping instructions for pre-approved collections. Use to sell CDs, sell DVDs, or LPs to us via UPS or US Mail.

When you sell CDs, DVDs, or LPs to us, you may ship any authorized titles via either 1) UPS or 2) US Mail.

If shipping via US Mail, please use the Fourth-Class Special Book Rate and insure your recordings for the approximate appraisal amount. If there is any tracking information, please save it.

If shipping via UPS, the ground rate is the most economical. Please insure the recordings for the approximate amount you expect to receive, and keep a record of the UPS tracking number(s).

Please do not send us any items before receiving approval from one of our appraisers. We can not be held responsible for any unauthorized merchandise. Click here to return to our Sell CDs, Sell DVDs, and LPs page.

Sturdy record shipping cartons are available from most moving or truck rental companies (for example: Ryder or United). When you sell LPs to us, we recommend using cartons with the approximate dimensions of 13" x 13" x 17” which will hold about 100 Records each.

A wide variety of boxes can be used to sell DVDs or sell CDs to us. We suggest that you place layers of newspaper between the rows to minimize potential damage to the cases.

Please pack all items securely, and tape the seams of all cartons with two layers of 1 1/2" - 2" wide packing tape. If you are reusing cartons, cross out any old addresses or other information.

We will reimburse you ten cents per item for shipping expenses on pre-approved purchases totaling $50.00 or more.

Upon receipt of your merchandise, we will inspect the items carefully. If any titles in your record, CD, or DVD collection do not meet our condition standards, they will be re-appraised at a greatly reduced price. We will then issue you payment at the reduced value, return them to you at your expense, or discard them for you. If the titles meet our expected conditions, we will promptly send you a check for the agreed upon amount.
